「あのさ、キリンだよ。わあ、なんて 長い 首なんだろうね。」
ダニエルくんは こう 言いました。
「じゃあ、もっと 近くへ 行きましょう！」
ビクトリアちゃんは こう 言いました。
「へえ。キリンを なでても いいかしら。」
ダニエルくんは こう 言いました。
「えっと、なでたら 腕を かみちぎるだろうね。」
ビクトリアちゃんは こう 言いました。
「ううん。キリンは そんなに 怖くないよ。」
「それに、キリンは おとなしいから、そんなことは しないよ。」
ダニエルくんは こう 言いました。
「まるで 馬みたいに、キリンに 乗りたい 気がするよ。」
ビクトリアちゃんは こう 言いました。
「へえ、そうなんだ。キリンの 背中から 落ちるのは、きみが 一番目の 人だろうね。」
ダニエルくんは 別の ほうへ 目を向けると、急に 興奮した 様子で、こう 言いました。
「ほら！」
Victoria-chan said,
“Hey, it's a giraffe. Wow, what a long neck it has.”
Daniel-kun said,
“Then let's go a little closer!”
Victoria-chan said,
“Hmm. I wonder if I can pet the giraffe.”
Daniel-kun said,
“Uh, if you pet it, it'll probably bite your arm off.”
Victoria-chan said,
“No. Giraffes aren't that scary.”
“Besides, giraffes are gentle, so they wouldn't do that.”
Daniel-kun said,
“I feel like riding a giraffe, just like a horse.”
Victoria-chan said,
“Oh really? Is that so? You'd probably be the first person to fall off a giraffe's back.”
Daniel-kun looked in another direction and suddenly exclaimed excitedly,
“Look!”
Victoria-chan dijo:
“Oye, es una jirafa. ¡Guau!, qué cuello tan largo tiene.”
Daniel-kun dijo:
“¡Entonces acerquémonos más!”
Victoria-chan dijo:
“Hmm. Me pregunto si puedo acariciar a la jirafa.”
Daniel-kun dijo:
“Eh, si la acaricias, probablemente te arrancará el brazo de un mordisco.”
Victoria-chan dijo:
“No. Las jirafas no son tan aterradoras.”
“Además, las jirafas son dóciles, así que no harían algo así.”
Daniel-kun dijo:
“Me dan ganas de montar una jirafa, como si fuera un caballo.”
Victoria-chan dijo:
“¿Ah, sí? ¿De verdad? Probablemente serías la primera persona en caerse del lomo de una jirafa.”
Daniel-kun dirigió la mirada hacia otro lado y, de repente, dijo con entusiasmo:
